1. Introduction and Definitions

 

1.1 The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Website and all transactions and purchases made through it. This agreement applies as between you, the user of this Website and My CV Guide Ltd, the owner of this Website. Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Website. If you disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you should stop using the Website immediately. These terms are intended to be clear and fair so If you have any questions or suggestions at all, then please contact us at heretohelp@mycvguide.co.uk.

1.2 Within these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:

 

‘My CV Guide Ltd’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers to My CV Guide Ltd, the owner of the Website whose registered office is My CV Guide Ltd, Wren House, Gunville Road, Winterslow, SP5 1PP. Our company registration number is 12192933.

 

‘You’ and ‘Your’ refers to the person or entity using our website or services. If you agree to these Terms on behalf of a business, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms and your agreement to these terms will be treated as the agreement of the business. In that event, ‘you’ and ‘your’ will refer to that business.

 

‘Content’ means any text, images, graphics, audio, video, software or data compilations and any other form of information capable of being stored on a computer that appears on or forms part of this Website or any of our products or Services;

 

‘Service’ means collectively any online facilities, tools, services or information that My CV Guide Ltd makes available through the Website either now or in the future;

 

‘Services’ means the services available to you through this Website, specifically CV guidance documents, reviews, consultations and any service in relation to the advertised services;

 

‘Payment Information’ means any details required for the purchase of Services from this Website. This includes, but is not limited to, credit/debit card numbers, bank account numbers and sort codes;

 

‘Purchase Information’ means collectively any orders, invoices, receipts or similar that may be in hard copy or electronic form;

 

‘System’ means any online communications infrastructure that My CV Guide Ltd makes available through the Website either now or in the future. This includes, but is not limited to, web-based email, live chat facilities and email links;

 

‘Website’ means www.mycvguide.co.uk and any sub-domains of this site unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions.

 

1.3 We reserve the right to change the Website, its Content or these Terms & Conditions without notice at any time.  Your continued use of our Website or Services following any change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to regularly check the Terms & Conditions for changes and if you do not agree with any changes made at any time, you should stop using our Website and Services immediately. If My CV Guide Ltd is required to make any changes to Terms and Conditions by law, these changes will apply automatically to any order currently pending in addition to any order placed by you in the future.

 

1.4 No part of this Website is intended to constitute a contractual offer capable of acceptance. No contract exists until we accept an order made by you for our products or Services, which is deemed to occur upon us sending an email to you, confirming that we have accepted the order you have placed. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason. We reserve the right to decline your order or to withdraw products or Services at any time, for any reason and without notice.


2. Communications
 

2.1 When using the contact forms, any other System on the Website or communicating with My CV Guide Ltd in any form, including but not limited to telephone correspondence, email, post, video calls or in person, you should do so in accordance with the following rules and expected standards:
 

2.1.1 You must not use obscene or vulgar language or demonstrate any aggressive or rude behaviour;

 

2.1.2 You must not submit Content that is unlawful or otherwise objectionable. This includes, but is not limited to, Content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, promotes or incites violence or is discriminatory in relation to any protected characteristic as defined by the Equality Act; namely age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation;

 

2.1.3 The means by which you identify yourself must not violate these Terms and Conditions or any applicable laws;

 

2.1.4 It is advised that any communications are made in English, as we may not be able to translate or respond to enquiries submitted in any other languages;

2.1.5 You must not impersonate other people, including employees and representatives of My CV Guide Ltd; and when purchasing Services, My CV Guide Ltd maintains communication solely with the individual taking part in the Services that have been purchased regardless of who paid for them. This is to ensure appropriate levels of Data Protection are maintained.  If appropriate and essential for the effective delivery of the Services, exceptions to this clause will be considered on an individual basis.  Please contact heretohelp@mycvguide.co.uk if this applies.

 

2.1.6 You must not use our System for unauthorised mass-communication such as ‘spam’ or ‘junk mail’.

 

2.1.7 You acknowledge that My CV Guide Ltd reserves the right to monitor, record and may retain copies of any and all communications made to us or using our System.

 

2.1.8 You acknowledge that any information you send to us through our System, email, post or on the contact form may be modified by us in any way and you hereby waive your moral right to be identified as the author of such information. Any restrictions you may wish to place upon our use of such information must be communicated to us in advance and we reserve the right to reject such terms and associated information.

 

2.2 If you act other than in accordance with any of sub-clauses 2.1.1 to 2.1.8, we reserve the right to immediately terminate or refuse any contract of further communication with you.

 

3. Intellectual Property

 

3.1 Subject to the exceptions in Clause 4 of these Terms and Conditions, all Content included on the Website or provided within any of our products or Services, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software is the property of My CV Guide Ltd or other relevant third parties. By continuing to use the Website you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable United Kingdom and International intellectual property and other laws.

 

3.2 Subject to Clause 3.3 you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use material from the Website unless otherwise indicated on the Website or unless given express written permission to do so by My CV Guide Ltd.

 

3.3 Material from the Website may be re-used without written permission where any of the exceptions detailed in Chapter III of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 apply.


4. Links to Other Websites

 

This Website may contain links to other sites. Unless expressly stated, these sites are not under the control of My CV Guide Ltd. We assume no responsibility for the content of such web sites and disclaim liability for any and all forms of loss or damage arising out of the use of them. The inclusion of a link to another site on this Website does not imply any endorsement of the sites themselves or of those in control or with ownership of them.


5. Pricing

 

5.1 All prices are subject to change at any time prior to a contract being entered into and are subject to change without prior notice. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for refusing to accept your order, withdrawing any products or Services or changing any prices.

 

5.2 In the event that prices are changed during the period between an order being placed for Services and My CV Guide Ltd processing that order and taking payment, you will be contacted prior to your order being processed with details of the new price OR provision of Services shall commence as per your order and you will be charged the original price.

 

5.3 All prices are stated in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of any Value Added Taxes or other applicable sales tax that we may be legally obliged to apply to our customers depending on their individual physical location.

 

6. Payment

 

6.1 On receipt of any order we will take payment for the Services purchased. Payment is required in full with all orders. We do not offer instalments to pay for our Services and neither will we enter into discount negotiations. All products and Services must be paid for in advance and will not be provided to you until payment has been received in full.

 

6.2 Your credit/debit card or PayPal account will be debited on acceptance of your order so as to ensure that sufficient funds/credit are/is available in the account. All credit/debit cards are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the refusal.

 

6.3 In the event that your Payment Information has been used to make an unauthorised or fraudulent order from or payment to My CV Guide Ltd, we can accept no liability or responsibility and you should make contact with the third party service provider detailed in the Purchase Information to investigate and attempt to recover funds.  If you suspect or are concerned that an unauthorised or fraudulent payment has been made to My CV Guide Ltd, contact us immediately and where possible, we will cancel or suspend any scheduled payment or the provision of our Services in support of you resolving the situation and pending any investigation into it.


7. Provision of Services

 

7.1 Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that all descriptions of Services available from My CV Guide Ltd correspond to the actual Services, My CV Guide Ltd is not responsible for any variations from these descriptions. This does not exclude our liability for mistakes due to negligence on our part and refers only to variations of the correct Services, not different Services altogether. Please refer to sub-Clause 7.3 regarding incorrect Services.

 

7.2 Provision of Services shall commence when full payment has been received and shall be subject to the terms and conditions pertaining directly to those Services as detailed in Clause 8.4.

 

7.3 In the event that Services are provided that are not in conformity with your order and thus incorrect, you should contact us within 10 working days to inform us of the mistake. My CV Guide Ltd will ensure that any necessary corrections to the Services provided are made within 5 working days from the point of notification.

 

8. Products and Services

 

8.1 The provision of any advice and feedback from us is based upon the document and information that is provided by you on placing your order, or within any consultation appointments or related correspondence.  The information you provide is accepted as true and accurate. We do not under any circumstances knowingly make recommendations based on lies or false information and therefore carry no responsibility for the factual accuracy of your completed CV.  That responsibility remains entirely your own.

 

8.2 Once a CV Review Service has been purchased and completed, there is an option to upgrade to a CV Consultation Service and just pay the price difference. This is within a specified time period and the details of which, along with the process of taking up this offer, are specified within written correspondence provided on delivery of the CV Review Service.

8.3 All products and Services are designed for the UK recruitment market. Details of our specific products and Services are as follows:

8.3.1 CV Guide

  • The CV Guide is a 25 page electronic document that provides a full step-by-step process and associated guidance for writing and self-reviewing a CV.

  • Payment in full is required in advance along with the provision of your name and email address so that the product can be sent to you by email.

  • At the point of ordering, further details are requested for customer profiling purposes in order to enhance our Services and support future product and marketing development.  These details are not mandatory and are indicated as such when completing the purchasing process. Any details you provide will be managed in accordance to our privacy policy.

  • On purchasing the CV Guide, an automated email will be sent confirming your purchase and providing you with a unique reference number.

  • The CV Guide will then be sent to the email address provided within 1 hour of purchase. This will be in PDF format. We have ensured that this product is in an easily accessible format but carry no responsibility for individual access to it regarding your ownership or access to relevant software or IT systems.  That remains the entire responsibility of you as the purchaser.  

  • Your satisfaction is absolutely key and we are available to provide telephone and email support to you if you have any questions regarding the CV Guide once purchased. This is available to you for 30 days from the date of purchase and will be within reasonable limits of our availability and the extent and level of additional support being requested. Whether requests for support are deemed reasonable and whether or not they are supported will remain entirely our decision. Any further support beyond the period of 30 days will be provided at our discretion.

  • In line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, (exceptions for Digital Products) we provide the CV Guide in the form of digital content which you will have immediate access to and therefore benefit of. We will therefore not accept returns or refunds for this product. On ordering the CV Guide therefore, you expressly consent to waive your rights of cancellation.  If you have any questions or uncertainty about the CV Guide or waiving your rights to cancellation then please contact us at heretohelp@mycvguide.co.uk to discuss and clarify before making the purchase.

8.3.2 CV Review

  • The CV Review service requires you to upload your current CV in a Word accessible format for review and feedback. The format must allow the document to be both read and edited by us.

  • Payment is required in advance along with the provision of your name and email address so that the feedback can be sent to you by email.

  • At the point of ordering, further details are requested for customer profiling purposes in order to complete a more informed review of your CV and to enhance our services and support future product and marketing development.  These details are not mandatory and are indicated as such when completing the purchasing process. Any details you provide will be managed in accordance to our privacy policy.

  • Feedback is provided in the form of advisory notes and is not a full or partial re-write of your CV.  Any amendments or changes to your CV will be made by yourself.

  • You will receive back your CV with comment boxes added to it highlighting suggested areas of improvement. Any advice and feedback will be specific to your CV and so will vary from person to person. It will however be a manageable number of key points that will be provided to you, typically 5 to 10.  These may be specific corrections, or wider feedback that cover the whole document or particular sections of it. This may be a combination of definitive changes and areas to think about and consider, so that you can make choices based on your priorities and to ensure that you can apply proposed changes in the way that works best for you. All feedback provided will be designed to be clear, easily applied and result in identifiable improvement to your CV. 

  • Turnaround time for receiving feedback is typically within 72hours.  There is the opportunity when purchasing to highlight the need for a quicker response if your requirement is urgent. Although a quicker response can’t always be guaranteed, it will always be considered and offered whenever possible.

  • A personalised email will be sent on placement of your order and receipt of your CV, confirming the order and that the CV has uploaded successfully and providing an anticipated turnaround time to receive your feedback from us.  

  • On completion of the CV Review, you will receive back the original CV you sent to us, a second copy of it with the comment boxes added providing advice and feedback as described above, as well as an overview document to assist you with reviewing your CV once you have made the changes and for future amendments.

  • Within 14 days of receiving your feedback, if you would like to have your CV reviewed again once you have made the recommended changes, then you can do so at no additional cost.  Instructions for doing so are provided within the feedback email. This is a complimentary offering and non-delivery or dissatisfaction for any reason does not entitle you to a refund, or can form the basis for a complaint, regarding the original purchase.

  • Your satisfaction is absolutely key and we are available to provide telephone and email support to you if you have any questions regarding the CV Review or the feedback and recommendations that you have received as part of that Service. This is available to you for 30 days from the date you receive your feedback and will be within reasonable limits of our availability and the extent and level of additional support being requested. Whether requests for support are deemed reasonable and whether or not they are supported will remain entirely our decision. Any further support beyond the period of 30 days will be provided at our discretion.

  • In line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, (exceptions for personalised service) there is no right to cancellation. We will not accept returns or refunds for this product. This is because it is a fully personalised service that begins the moment that your order is placed.

  • If you have any questions or uncertainty about the CV Review Service then please contact us at heretohelp@mycvguide.co.uk to discuss and clarify before making the purchase.

8.3.3 CV Consultation

  • The CV Consultation service requires you to upload your current CV if you have one and confirm your choice of communication time and method. Your CV must be made available in a Word accessible format that will allow the document to be both read and edited.

  • Payment is required in advance along with the provision of your name and email address so that the feedback can be sent to you by email.

  • At the point of ordering, further details are requested for customer profiling purposes in order to complete a more informed review of your CV, to enhance our Services and support future product and marketing development.  These details are not mandatory and are indicated as such when completing the purchasing process. Any details you provide will be managed in accordance to our privacy policy.

  • A personalised email will be sent on placement of your order and receipt of your CV, confirming the order and that the CV has uploaded successfully and providing details of next steps and how to book in a consultation appointment.   This will offer you different options in terms of your preferred communication method, such as telephone, email, or video call and preferred date and time for the appointment.

  • A consultation appointment will be scheduled to build a full understanding of your career history, aims and objectives. This is typically a 30 to 45 minute phone conversation, but can be adapted to meet your personal priorities of method and duration.

  • This initial appointment must be booked in, confirmed and scheduled to occur within 12 weeks of purchasing the CV Consultation Service.   Scheduling appointments beyond the 12 week period will be at the discretion of My CV Guide Ltd.  If the 12 week period is passed without an explicit cancellation or an appointment confirmed, then we reserve the right to terminate the contract with no right to a full or partial refund.

  • Within reason, My CV Guide will endeavour to provide times for the consultation appointment that best suit you.  For transparency, greatest availability and therefore guarantee of available appointments will typically be Monday to Friday between 09:30 and 14:00 and you must be willing and able to be available during standard working hours if necessity or our availability requires it. Appointments may be available and will be offered wherever possible outside of standard office hours to include early mornings, evenings and weekends.  For the avoidance of doubt, availability of specific communication methods and exact dates and times can not always be guaranteed and therefore remains at our complete discretion. If despite best endeavours, the feasibility or practicality of scheduling an appointment within an appropriate time-frame is not proving possible, then we reserve the right to revert to email communication for the consultation, whether or not that would be your preferred or accepted means of communication, in order to provide the service in an efficient and timely manner. This decision will be at our discretion and will not entitle you to any refund.

  • A CV is professionally written for you based on the information provided by you when placing your order, during the consultation appointment or via any other correspondence.  A CV template will be developed with a format and layout that will work best for you, upon which your CV will be written and advice for future tailoring or adaptation will be provided. Any advice and feedback will be specific to your CV and so will vary from person to person.  These may be specific instructions, or wider guidance that cover the whole document or particular sections of it. This may be a combination of definitive changes and areas to think about and consider, so that you can make choices based on your priorities and to ensure that you can apply proposed changes in the way that works best for you. All advice provided will be designed to be clear, easily applied and result in identifiable improvement to your CV. 

  • Turnaround time for receiving your completed CV is typically within 72hours of your consultation appointment.  There is the opportunity when purchasing and scheduling the consultation appointment to highlight the need for a quicker response if your requirement is urgent. Although a quicker response can’t always be guaranteed, it will always be considered and offered whenever possible.

  • On completion of the CV Consultation you will receive by email a professionally written CV, the original CV you sent to us back for reference purposes, and an overview document that provides advice and guidance on how to tailor and adapt the CV for specific applications and to amend or update the CV in future. A follow up conversation will be also be proposed in order to talk through all the feedback and your CV fully.

  • Within 14 days of receiving the CV, if you would like to make any amendments to it and have it reviewed afterwards, then you can do so at no additional cost.  Instructions for doing so are provided within the completion email. This is a complimentary offering and non-delivery or dissatisfaction for any reason does not entitle a refund for the original purchase.

  • Your satisfaction is absolutely key and we are available to provide telephone and email support to you if you have any questions regarding the CV Consultation, Review or the feedback and recommendations that you have received as part of that Service. This is available to you for 30 days from the date you receive your feedback and will be within reasonable limits of our availability and the extent and level of additional support being requested. Whether requests for support are deemed reasonable and whether or not they are supported will remain entirely our decision. Any further support beyond the period of 30 days will be provided at our discretion.

  • In line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, (exceptions for personalised service) there is no right to cancellation. We will not accept returns or offer full refunds for this product. This is because it is a fully personalised service with initial review commencing upon placement of your order. We do however offer a refund schedule to offer partial refunds if you cancel your order part-way through the provision of the Service, retaining funds to cover administrative costs, business impact and to reflect the work undertaken on your behalf as follows:

    • Cancellation within 5 days of receiving your confirmation of order email and before booking your consultation appointment - 80% refunded

    • Cancellation once consultation appointment has been booked and up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment – 60% refunded

    • Cancellation within 48 hours of scheduled consultation appointment – 50% refunded.

    • Missed consultation appointment and no contact to reschedule within 24 hours or cancellation subsequent to consultation appointment – No refund.

  • If you miss a scheduled consultation appointment then we reserve the right to immediately end the contract with you.  In this circumstance you would not be entitled to any refund.  If you would like to continue with the service and have reasonable grounds for having missed the scheduled appointment, you must contact us within 24hrs of the planned appointment start time to reschedule it.   Re-scheduling of an appointment will be considered on a case-by-case basis, will need to be within parameters set by us and will be entirely at our discretion.  We reserve the right to refuse without reason any requests to reschedule a missed appointment

  • If for any reason a scheduled consultation appointment is cancelled by us, it will be rescheduled as an absolute priority for you.  This will not automatically entitle you to a full refund, but this will be considered on case-by-case dependent on considerations including the level of work already undertaken, the level of service provided to you, the direct impact on you and your requirements of the Service and the reasonableness and extent to which we have attempted to rectify the circumstance

9. Timeframes for Delivery

 

9.1 Upon placing an order, payment being taken in full and in accordance to sub-clauses 8.3.1 to 8.3.3 we aim to deliver Services within the following timeframes;

 

9.1.1 CV Guide – PDF document emailed to you within 1 hour.
9.1.2 CV Review – Your original CV, a review version with notes, feedback and recommendations noted on it, and a guidance document for self-reviewing once changes have been made  emailed to you within 72 hours.

9.1.3 CV Consultation – Dependent on both your and our availability, the consultation appointment can normally be scheduled within 7-10 days from the order being placed. A professionally written CV, your original CV back and an overview document providing advice and guidance for making future amendments emailed to you within 72 hours of the consultation appointment.

 

9.2 Delivery will be made to the email address provided by you when ordering. It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address information provided is accurate and that you have access to it.  As this may be the only contact information we have for you, notification of any issues with receipt of the product or Services purchased will need to be made by you as we would have no means of checking.

 

9.3 If you require your feedback by a specific deadline, this can be highlighted upon placing your order.  Delivering within a reduced timeframe can not be guaranteed but best endeavours will be made to do so.  We will not be held liable for any failure to meet the requested timeframe.

 

9.4 If for any reason these deadlines cannot be met, you will be notified immediately, although My CV Guide Ltd can not be held responsible for issues which fall beyond our reasonable control. Turnaround times may be affected if you are unavailable for a consultation or communication is delayed.

 

9.5 We can not be held liable for any losses incurred as a result of failure to meet these timeframes.

 

10. Format for Delivery

 

10.1 The CV Guide is provided via email in a PDF format. The feedback from the Review and Consultation services will be provided via email in a Word Document, to allow you to edit either that or your original CV.   Any amendments or changes to your CV recommended within the CV Review will be made by you and My CV Guide Ltd has no liability for the effectiveness and accuracy of how those alterations are made or of any outcome relating to the use of your CV for any current or future purposes.

 

10.2 We can not be held liable for incompatibility issues with your individual computer or software, nor your access to the required hardware or software required to view and access our products and Services when delivered to you, although we do undertake to assist as best we are able in resolving any such issues and will provide alternative, more suitable formats if we are able to do so.  If we are unable to provide a resolution then you will need to seek appropriate professional IT support at your expense.  My CV Guide Ltd will carry no repsonsibility.

 

11. Cancellations and Refunds

 

11.1 In accordance to the Consumer Contract Regulations 2014, and as per the product and Services descriptions in sub clauses 8.4.1 to 8.4.3, our cancellation policy is defined as follows:

 

11.1.1 The CV Guide is provided in the form of digital content. To ensure that it is available and provided as quickly as possible, this is automatically sent by email to you with immediate access and benefit from the product.  Under the Consumer Contract Regulations (exceptions for digital products), on making this purchase you waive your right to any refund, cancellation or a statutory 14 day cooling off period. Therefore be certain that you would like to make the purchase before doing so.  If you have any questions at all that you would like to clarify before purchasing then contact us at heretohelp@mycvguide.co.uk.

 

11.1.2 The CV Review Service is a clearly personalised service and in order to deliver it within the timeframe offered, work will reasonably begin on any orders immediately.  Therefore there is no right to cancel.

 

11.1.3 In regards to the CV Consultation Service, the consultation appointment represents a key element of the service provision. Although work will commence immediately, cancellation ahead of that appointment will allow for a partial refund in line with the following rates and in consideration of the reasonable undertakings made by us to deliver the contract to you.

 

  • Cancellation within 5 days of receiving your confirmation of order email and before booking your consultation appointment - 80% refunded

  • Cancellation once consultation appointment has been booked and up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment – 60% refunded

  • Cancellation within 48 hours of scheduled consultation appointment – 50% refunded.

  • Missed consultation appointment and no contact to reschedule within 24 hours or cancellation subsequent to consultation appointment – No refund.

 

11.2 My CV Guide Ltd reserves the right to cancel orders or payments without stating reasons, for any reason prior to processing payment or commencing the provision of Services.
 

11.3 Our aim is to provide the best service available so if you wish to cancel an order please let us know by email as soon as possible. If we have not started to work on your CV we will be happy to consider a refund. If work has started but not completed then we may be able to provide a partial refund. This will always be entirely at our discretion and we reserve the right to refuse any request of this nature without reason.

 

12. Termination

 

12.1 My CV Guide Ltd may terminate or suspend Services without refund if you unreasonably fail to co-operate or communicate.  This includes but is not limited to:

 

12.1.1 If you miss a scheduled appointment as part of the CV Consultation service and don’t get back in contact within 24 hours, we maintain the right to terminate Services immediately without refund.

 

12.1.2 Following the placement of an order, if you fail to respond to queries made by us within a 14 day period of our communication, we hold the right to terminate the Service due to lack of response. This clause relates to any form of contact including, but not limited to amendments, complaints and refund requests.

 

13. Returning products


It's not possible to return any products or services purchased in exchange for refund, since all products are digital or individually personalised. You should be aware that once any guide, feedback or documents have been received by you, all risk of damage to, or loss of them, shall pass to you.

 

14. Complaints Procedure
 

14.1 By ensuring open and transparent communication, we do everything we can to ensure high levels of service and trust throughout your dealings with us.  If for any reason you have any issues or concerns please contact us straight away and we will look to resolve them for you.  If they can’t be addressed to your satisfaction in this way, then the following complaints procedure as per sub-clause 14.2 should be followed.

 

14.2 All complaints must be made in writing and sent as soon as possible via email to; heretohelp@mycvguide.co.uk.  We endeavour to respond to any complaints as quickly as possible and within a maximum of 48 hours from receipt.  The response you receive within this timeframe will aim to resolve the complaint, ascertain further details or information if required or advise of next steps and projected timescales for reviewing and investigating the complaint as is deemed reasonable and appropriate.

16.3 Nothing within these terms represent a disclaimer that the CV Guide, in so far as it being Digital Content, will be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose, being as described or complying with pre-contractual information or the right to supply.

 

16.4 Whilst My CV Guide Ltd uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Website and all provision of Services is secure and free of errors, viruses and other malware, you must take responsibility for your own security, that of your personal details and your devices. Any material and/or data downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Website and Service is done at your own discretion and risk and you will therefore be solely responsible for any damage to your computer systems, devices or loss of data that results from the download of such material and/or data.

For example if there were to be any grammatical or spelling errors in our feedback or correspondence, you are responsible for insuring that this is not transferred to your CV.

It is limited for loss of data, loss of profits, cost of cover, or other special, exemplary, incidental, consequential, indirect or punitive damages however caused and regardless of theory of liability arising from the use of the Website, any information contained therein or any of our products or Services. Users should be aware that they use the Website, its Content and our Services at their own risk.

 

17.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts My CV Guide Ltd’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from any negligence or fraud on the part of My CV Guide Ltd or for any other loss which it is not permitted to exclude under law.
  

17.3 Our liability is limited for losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when any contract was made, for losses that were not caused by any breach on our part and for business losses and/or losses to non-consumers.

My CV Guide Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any disruption or non-availability of the Website or our Services resulting from external causes including, but not limited to, ISP equipment failure, host equipment failure, communications network failure (including internet and email), power failure, breakdown of other supporting services, natural events, acts of war or legal restrictions and censorship. We will always make our best efforts to ensure timescales are achieved.


21. No Waiver


In the event that any party to these Terms and Conditions fails to exercise any right or remedy contained herein, this shall not be construed as a waiver of that right or remedy.

 

22. Previous Terms and Conditions


In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any previous versions, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail unless it is expressly stated otherwise.
